The Naked Truth: Real Talk about West Coast Swing is a weekly podcast hosted by Eric Jacobson with honest discussions about the dance, our community, and the impact they both have on all of us personally. Started with former co-host Deborah Székely, the mission of the show is to foster more open dialogue and discourse within our community with the hopes of spurring more personal connections and improving our experience as West Coast Swing dancers.
Eric Jacobson
Eric is an accomplished West Coast Swing dancer, competitor, instructor, and community leader. With a background in Lindy Hop and competitive ballroom, he began dancing West Coast Swing in 2002, and has since studied many different partner dances and hip hop. He has competed in Jack & Jills, Strictly Swing, and the Classic division, and today he competes at the All Star level. Eric teaches weekly in the San Francisco Bay Area and he hosts Mission City Swing every Wednesday night in San Francisco. He has also taught in cities and at events across the United States, Europe, and in Israel. Eric is the author of a blog about West Coast Swing, Naked Basics, in which he shares his thoughts and insights about all aspects of the dance.
